Meta may have just made the first consumer augmented reality pair of glasses, with a socially acceptable form factor, possible.
Orian AR Glasses are probably the sleekest, in terms of form factor, and provide the best consumer experience of anything thus far.
And on top of that, it comes with a wearable brain-machine interface as an input, that seems to read your mind.
Thoughts?

Hello Nosh,
Do you think it's possible to create a monocle version of these glasses? For the gentleman.

Hello Every1 and Sir Hugo,
While the concept of creating a monocle version of these glasses is intriguing, integrating the necessary electronics into such a compact and sleek design presents significant challenges.
The limited space in a monocle would make it difficult to incorporate the technology without compromising functionality and comfort. Additionally, achieving a suitable power source while maintaining the aesthetic appeal would be a considerable hurdle.
Noah would know if it possible.
Regards,
February

You say this as if such tech giants like Meta aren't already figuring this stuff out come Hell or high water. I speak from experience as someone who uses a monocle, now and then. The best ones are remarkably thin, and I believe this technology that overlaps the 3D images requires spectacles for optimal clarity and a bulky frame to house the electronics. Regards February

Regards February You speak the truth. It isn't easy to embed electrical components into that form factor but it has been done. You might be looking for the Brilliant Monocle: brilliant.xyz/products/monocleThe specs are limited though, and I don't think you'll be able to do any immersive gaming or anything like that with it though. I'm fact, you might not be able to use it for anything more than as a Heads-up Display, it a HUD. Something that you can do with a HUD is received notifications and recognizing objects with AI, and (probably) receive information on them in real time. The website says these are the specs: Monocle weighs just 15g. The camera will capture at 720p, and the display will output at 640x400 resolution with a 20° FOV. The device pairs via Bluetooth and can be programmed through a web interface, with your device providing additional computing power. All in all these specs suck in my opinion. But if you want a monocle, this is about all there is currently. You may also like Mojo Vision, the AR Contact lens if that's more your speed.
